Founded in 2017, Hanako Floral Studio began as a floral studio specializing in fresh flowers and preserved floral designs in the Greater Toronto Area.

Over the years, our collections gradually expanded to include handmade crochet flowers and keepsake gifts — blending floral aesthetics with long-lasting handcrafted artistry. As customers from across Canada discovered and supported our crochet creations, Hanako Gifts was created to offer Canada-wide shipping for our handmade collections and gift designs.

Today, Hanako Floral Studio continues to focus on fresh flower arrangements and local floral delivery within the GTA, while Hanako Gifts brings our crochet and preserved collections to customers across the country.

Hanako is proudly founded and led by two female partners with backgrounds in both design and business, including studies at a renowned design college in the UK and MBA studies in Switzerland. This balance of creativity and thoughtful curation continues to shape the identity of our brand.

Most of our products are independently designed with our own distinctive aesthetic and seasonal color palettes. For our crochet collections, each design is first developed in-house before being carefully handcrafted by experienced crochet artisans.
